Sunday 24th August from 9am Yoga • Sound • Nature • Nourishment Join us for a grounding and restorative morning in the hauntingly beautiful Great Hall at Woodchester Mansion. The day begins with a 90-minute mixed-ability yoga flow led by Robyn, followed by a deeply restful sound bath designed to soothe the nervous system and invite inner quiet. After practice, we’ll take a mindful 6km walk through the surrounding grounds (11:00–12:30), before gathering for a nourishing lunch provided by Henry’s, the wonderful on-site café and local bakery. Guests will also have the option to explore the mansion afterwards at a discounted rate of £8 (usually £11). Useful Info: – Please arrive at the National Trust car park by 08:30. The walk from the car park to the mansion is 1km and takes around 10–15 minutes. – Parking is £3 (cash only). – Please bring a yoga mat and blanket. – The mansion is a conservation site and the venue is very dusty, so please bear this in mind when dressing. This retreat is an opportunity to re-centre, reconnect and rest deeply in one of the most atmospheric spaces in the Cotswolds. Saturday 20th September 1:30 – 16:30 In this workshop you will expand your understanding of some core ideas from yoga philosophy and explore your experience of these ideas in practice. We will study and discuss, move and sense our bodies, and loosen the tight spots in our minds. The afternoon will be structured around a number of verses from the Kena Upanishad; no previous familiarity with this text is required! What to Expect
This workshop is suitable for teachers and practitioners of yoga of any level who wish to deepen their appreciation for the philosophical underpinnings of yoga. David is an experienced group facilitator, a senior yoga teacher and breathwork coach, who has practiced yoga for over 25 years. |

Join me for an evening where I will be sharing poems from the book and the stories behind them.
